Kindergarten Orientation Set to Begin April 3
The 2018 kindergarten orientation season kicks off on April 3. During orientation, parents and students will meet the school principal, kindergarten teachers and other staff members.
The sessions—scheduled at every elementary school between April 3 and May 26—are for children who will be five years old by September 1, 2018, and their parents. Parents should call their home school to make an appointment to register for that school’s specific date(s). Parents who are not sure which elementary school serves their area should contact the Boundaries Office at 240-314-4700 or access the School Assignment Locator on the MCPS website.
