The
East County Regional Services Center will host a free employment fair on Thursday, November 2 from 3 to 5 p.m. The community event will be held at the East County Community Recreation Center located at 3310 Manor Way in Silver Spring.
The event is an opportunity for job seekers to connect with employers. Applicants are asked to bring their resume and dress in business attire to meet with recruiters from public and private employers.
The event will include three employment workshops:
- Resume Review and Interviewing Skills (2 to 3 p.m.)
- Uncovering the Secrets of Finding & Applying for Jobs in the Federal Government (4 to 5 p.m.)
- Starting Your Own Business Time (5 to 6 p.m.)
